Your day trip starts with pick-up from your accommodation in Fez. After meeting your driver or guide, you will travel through the Moroccan countryside toward Volubilis, one of the most important Roman archaeological sites in Morocco.
At Volubilis, you will have time to walk through the ancient ruins, admire the Roman columns, basilica, triumphal arch, and beautiful mosaics. These 2,000-year-old ruins offer a clear view of Morocco’s Roman past and the lifestyle of the Roman Empire in North Africa.
After visiting Volubilis, continue to Moulay Idriss Zerhoun, one of the most sacred towns in Morocco. Built on the hills overlooking the surrounding countryside, this peaceful town is known for its spiritual importance, narrow streets, and beautiful panoramic views.
