🗺️ ITINERARY

Day 1: Fez / Ifrane / Midelt / Erfoud / Merzouga

The beginning of the trip will be from your riad at 8:00. The drive will take us past Ifrane, a winter ski resort built by the French in the 1930s to resemble a Swiss village.

Then we will stop at the cedars forest in Azrou where you can see and feed the monkeys.

Our journey across the Middle Atlas Mountains will be full of amazing natural sights. Most of the day will be spent winding through forests, springs, rock formations, and Berber villages as you descend towards the Sahara Desert.

Halfway, you will stop for lunch in Midelt, famous for its fossils and rocks. Then we continue towards Merzouga. Along the way, we stop for panoramic views of a huge palm oasis.

We arrive in Merzouga in the afternoon (around 5:00 PM). After some rest, your guide and camels will be waiting for you. You will start a camel trek across the dunes of Erg Chebbi and enjoy a beautiful desert sunset.

After about one hour, you reach the desert camp to spend the night in a Berber tent. Mint tea will be served, followed by dinner. Then enjoy the stars. Overnight in the tent.

Day 2: Merzouga / Tafilalt / Fez

In the morning, you can wake up early and walk over the dunes to watch the sunrise near the Algerian border (about 50 km from Merzouga).

Return by camel to the hotel, then we head back to Fez with stops for rest and lunch along the way.

Arrival in Fez in the evening, transfer to your accommodation.
